Scea Chateau Haut-Pougnan lies on the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne, on superb clay-limestone and gravelly soils, in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers, a wine region in Bordeaux, France. The eastern and southern part of the plantation is home to red wine vineyards, the western part remains the territory of white wines.
Because of the clay-limestone nature of the soils in the area, it makes the vineyard possible to obtain very fine wines with a precise bouquet.
Chateau Haut-Pougnan recently joined London Awards 2020 and has received 2 Gold Medals for their white wines:
Their white wines are tasted young which goes wonderfully with fish and seafood.
